Mindfulness and Meditation Mondays

In each session we will experience the world of mindfulness and meditation through compelling conversations and meditations. There will be only two sessions in June. Our guide is Andy Nunberg who has 20 year’s experience in the field.
No previous experience necessary. Open to anyone 16 years or older.
About the Presenter:
Andy Nunberg a scientific spiritual aspirant. He received his PhD in Biology and spent 10 years in the field of molecular biology. Now he spends his time teaching others the knowledge, skills and practice of meditation.
He has had a regular meditation practice for the past 20 years when he was initiated into the practice of Sudarshan Kriya(SKY) and Sahaj Samadhi meditation. For the past 13 years, he has been teaching about yoga and meditation and the spiritual foundation that accompany them. Andy likes to emphasize the practical benefits of spiritual knowledge and meditation in daily life.
He is drawn to the Advaitya Vedanta philosophy of the Vedic tradition of ancient India that leads the student on a journey to greater and greater freedom in life, from the ever changing duality to the non changing , non-dual Self. He has been trained by his teacher/Guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar to teach Sudarshan Kriya, Sahaj Samadhi meditation and lead silent/meditation retreats. Andy continues his Vedic studies these days by learning more about Ayurveda, the Vedic system of health and welllness, and has recently learned to give Marma treatments. He will be conducting workshops in Ayurveda the near future.
