MOTHERHOOD Series: Meditation and Motherhood

Meditation practices have been employed in different cultures for centuries. Vidya has practiced mediation for many years and would like to guide attendees through ways of bringing a meditative focus into their lives. She will provide specific information about the transition to motherhood as well as personal experiences using these techniques.
In this experiential workshop, Vidya will cover:
– ways to incorporate meditation using your senses in a way that brings the practice to daily life
– different mudras or breathing exercises to help oxygenate the blood and calm the nervous system
– guided meditation to enhance your day : also information of some guided meditations to use other days at home
Everyone’s journey is different but you can benefit from this ancient wisdom and learn how it can benefit you and your baby.
