Mindfulness and Meditation Mondays
March 30 @ 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Update: Meditation will be free and held online this week in response to coronavirus concerns and to be as accessible as possible for everyone.
The meditation will be held through the zoom software.
We will be going through a meditation that will help you release fear, anxiety, and panic that you may be picking up from the media and others over the past couple weeks. Hope to see you all there. It will be at our usual time – 7:30pm.
Please keep in mind that this decision is not to add to any panic or fear. In times like this it is important to remain aware, but not afraid and to respond, rather than to react. I want everyone attending to be as comfortable as possible and felt this was the best way to keep us all connected.
Email me at email@example.com if interested in attending online, so I can provide the meeting link to attend through.
Every Monday I will lead us in a different form of meditation. The aim of each Monday Meditation gathering is to present and inform everyone of all the different forms of meditation that exists, and how each one could uniquely assist you in a particular area of your life. From there, attendants will feel empowered to employ the forms of meditation in their own life that they have found have benefitted them the most.
We also gather each Monday to establish a communal atmosphere where everyone can share and connect about their personal lives and journeys towards personal growth. At the end of each meditative session, we all work to share about how the meditations affected us and what we came away from the experience with.
There is no experience required to join, the sessions are designed to be accessible to everyone of all skill levels. Open to anyone 16 years or older.
